The Kuala Lumpur International AV Show 2023 will mark the return of industry veteran Yoon Tuck Chee, the owner of Audio Art in Ipoh, and a Japanese company that makes competent and good-sounding components, Soul Note.
Yoon Tuck Chee was missing for the past few editions of the KLIAVS and his return to the AV show is very welcome. Since his distributorship, Audio Art, was absent from the AV shows, Soul Note was also missing from the shows. Audio Art distributes many brands such as Egglestonworks, Viborg, Heco and Tone Winner, and it has teamed up with its dealer, Hau HiFi from Bukit Mertajam, to set up a full-stack Soul Note demo system.
The system comprises the Soul Note S-3 SACD player, Soul Note P-3 pre-amplifier, Soul Note M-3 monoblock amplifier, Soul Note X-3 Master-clock Generator, Soul Note Z-3 Media Transport and Soul Note D-3 DAC.
The analogue source will be vinyl played on an Acoustic Signature Tornado Neo turntable with TA-2000 tonearm and MCX-4 MC cartridge. The speakers are the Raidho TD 2.2 floorstanders.
The Audio Art/Hau HiFi demo system will be in room 2718.
