Watch out for the Fender x MoFi PrecisionDeck Limited Edition turntable because it looks gorgeous. A few of them will be brought into Malaysia by Centre Circle Audio Visual.
The Fender x MoFi PrecisionDeck turntable is a collaboration between MoFi and the guitar specialist, Fender. The plinth is made of slabs of swamp ash wood — the same wood that is used to make Fender Precision Bass guitars. And the finish is the iconic tricolor sunburst pattern from Fender guitars of the 1950s. Only 1,000 of these turntables were made and there are only a few left.
MoFi Electronics’ Director of International Sales, Steve Shade, was at Centre Circle yesterday and met with a group of audiophiles to explain the history of MoFi and its journey from making recordings of passing trains and sounds of nature to pressing audiophile LPs and now making complete sound systems. He also revealed some products which will be launched at the AXPONA 2024 AV show which will be held from April 12-14 at Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel & Convention Center, Schaumburg, Illinois, USA.
Steve held a Power Point presentation and showed turntables, cartridges, phono preamps and record weights.
Centre Circle has brought in the MoFi SourcePoint 8 and SourcePoint 10 bookshelf speakers with dedicated stands.
With the list of components coming in, including those to be launched at AXPONA 2024, there will be a MoFi fest at Centre Circle soon.
