
Founder of Audio Group Denmark Michael Børresen has revealed that he is working on a turntable and tonearm together with Flemming Rasmussen, former founder of Gryphon, who has joined his company.
Michael said the project will probably take another two years and will be marketed under the Aavik brand.
Michael revealed this nugget of information while holding listening sessions in Singapore today along with Audio Maestro, his distributor in Singapore, owned by Kenny Lim.
Michael declined to reveal more details about his turntable/tone arm project.
He is in Singapore to demo his flagship Borresen M3 speakers, Aavik SD-880 streamer DAC, I-880 Class A integrated amplifier and Ansuz Gold Signature cables and power switch.
There are two other systems on demo: Borresen C3 speakers, Aavik U-588 Unity Integrated Amplifier and Ansuz D3 series of power switch, power distributor and cables. Axxess L3 speakers, Axxess Forte 1 Streamer Integrated Amp and Axxess cables and accessories.
The listening event was held at Holiday Inn Singapore Orchard City Centre.
