Audiovector R 10 Arreté speakers

Audiovector has launched its flagship floorstanders called the R 10 Arreté which boasts of having 13 drivers in each speaker, making it almost like a line array design.

On the front baffle are two 6.5” AFC carbon sandwich lower-mid drivers, one 6.5” AFC carbon sandwich mid driver, a 3800mm2 AMT N51Tweeter and a 800mm2 AMT N51 Extended Tweeter. At the back are a line array of eight 5” long-throw, low distortion woofers. Crossover frequencies are 180 Hz, 450 Hz, 3,000 Hz and 20,000 Hz.

There are eight woofers at the back.

The frequency response of the R 10 Arreté is rated at 21Hz — 53 kHz with average impedance of 8 Ohms and sensitivity of 90 dB.

Its dimensions are H156 × W36.5 × D62.7 cm without spikes and each speaker weighs 95kg.

The finishes are Canadian Birdseye Maple, African Mahogany Crotch and Italian Walnut Burl. All finishes are piano lacquered, with custom paint finishes available on request.

The Audiovector R 10 Arreté flagship floorstanders will make their debut at the Munich High End which is on from May 15-18.

The speakers look good, but cost a lot of money — 147,500 euros.

Audiovector’s Malaysian distributor Audio Perfectionist is contemplating bringing in one pair.
