The higher-end DLA-NZ900 and DLA-NZ800 are capable of inputting and displaying 8K60p-resolution images with higher contrast ratio and brightness.

Both models feature JVC’s new proprietary 4K K-ILA devices that are now in their third generation to achieve 1.5 times higher native contrast ratio and JVC’s new proprietary light engine called BU-Escent Laser for more brightness and luminosity.

JVC launched these 8K e-shiftX projectors in expectation of more 8K content being available in the future with 8K streaming via YouTube and the release of 8K-compatible games.

The DLA-NZ700 and DLA-NZ500 are touted to be the world’s smallest native 4K D-ILA projectors with third-generation 4K D-ILA devices offering enhanced screen uniformity, and high-efficiency BLU-Escent Laser light source. They have second-generation Frame Adapt HDR technology offering high-quality HDR images and Vivid mode which reproduces SDR content in rich colours.

AV Designs has set up two systems to demo the DLA-NZ500 and the DLA-NZ900 projectors.
