Following the resounding success of the Bermuda Triangle of Audio held on June 14 (see https://www.av2day.com/2025/06/malaysias-first-audio-passport-challenge-in-the-bermuda-triangle-of-audio/ and https://www.av2day.com/2025/06/music-fun-and-prizes-in-the-bermuda-triangle-of-audio/), the ‘Three Musketeers of Music’ in SEA Park, Petaling Jaya, have decided to join hands again for part two of the sonic adventure.
Now, it has evolved into a two-day event from July 12-13 and the usual suspects — TechX, Stars Picker and JW Speaker Lab — are involved. The event will be from 10.30am to 6.30pm on both days.
This time they will showcase tube amps paired with bookshelf speakers. TechX will feature the venerable BBC mini monitor speakers — the LS3/5a from Rogers. The highly-acclaimed speakers will be driven by the new Western Electric 91E 300B tube integrated amp.
Stars Picker will demo the DALI Menuet driven by Cayin tube amps while JW Speaker Lab will demo Joseph Wong’s JW Uni two-way sealed-box bookshelf speakers.
Again, attendees will have to collect stamps from all three hi-fi/head-fi outlets for a chance to win prizes in a lucky draw.
