Several audiophiles turned up at the curiously-named event, The Hidden Frequency, which was held at Begins Acoustic’s showroom in Puchong yesterday.
On demo were two pairs of Audiovector speakers — the QR 5SE (retailing at RM26,820) and the QR 7SE (RM37,140). They were driven by the Gryphon Diablo 333 integrated amp with the streamer being Wattson Audio. Cables and rack were from Tiglon.
On static display were other Audiovector floorstanding speakers.
Refreshments and a cocktail were served while the audiophiles took turns to be entertained by demo sessions hosted by Kenix Chua of Begins Acoustic and Issac Ho of Audio Perfectionist.
It is encouraging to see distributors and dealers teaming up to organise special listening sessions to stir up interest especially among the Millennials and the Gen Zers.
