Hi-fi dealers/distributors are getting more innovative these days — last Saturday was the Bermuda Triangle of Audio event in the SEA Park area of Petaling Jaya; this Sunday, an event with an interesting name, ‘The Hidden Frequency’, will be held at Begins Acoustic’s showroom in Puchong.
Essentially there will be two carefully-tuned systems and music will be played for three hours to reveal what other systems hide. There will be talks by special guests, trade-in evaluations, Purchase-with-Purchase offers and door prizes. Since we are in Malaysia, there will be food served. Cocktails will also be served.
Even the copywriting has improved immensely: the event is “Curated by Audiovector QR SE, Powered by Gryphon Diablo 120, Streamed via Wattson Audio and Supported by TiGLON signal chains”. Attendees are also told to “Let the system disappear — and the music speak”.
