Lenbrook Asia, which owns brands like Bluesound, NAD and PSB speakers, has really thought out of the box to promote its products. It has collaborated with a hipster cafe called Bijou in Ara Damansara, Selangor, to hold the ‘Lepak Sessions with Lenbrook Asia’. ‘Lepak’ is a Malay word which means “(especially of a young person) spend one’s time aimlessly loitering or loafing around”.
Starting from August 1, Lenbrook Malaysia has set up several demo systems in Bijou cafe. On the ground floor is a NAD turntable and a pair of PSB iQ streaming active speakers.

On the mezzanine floor are two systems comprising PSB speakers, sub-woofers and Blluesound streamers and streamer/amp.
Lenbrook Asia Regional Sales Manager Kenny Low is at the cafe most of the time to conduct demos for the coffee lovers. “It is advisable to call me before turning up so that I can prepare the systems,” he said.
Lenbrook Asia Business Development Manager Tan Wei Shen said they have to innovate to stimulate interest in the AV market. “More events and collaborations are in the works. We are also targeting the Gen Zers who are frequenting coffee-raves and some deejays have contacted us to express interest in working with us,” he said.
