The SEA Park area in Petaling Jaya, which already has three head-fi/hi-fi outlets, now has a vinyl listening cafe. Called Eternyl Vinyl Cafe, it is on the same row of shophouses as Stars Picker Audio Library above the Da Ma Cai shop.
It claims to be Malaysia’s first vinyl listening cafe and it may be right. This is because while there are other restaurants/cafes featuring sound systems with turntables and LPs as music source, Eternyl Vinyl Cafe is the only one which features a turntable, headphone amp and headphones at every table.
Opened on July 25, Eternyl Vinyl Cafe has attracted hordes of vinyl spinners — mostly Gen Zers and Millennnials — who go there for the retro vibes and to enjoy analogue music. This is indeed a good sign that young music lovers are slowly entering the world of hi-fi.

The cafe charges RM20 for a 90-minute listening session with a 60-minute extension (depending on availability) for RM10. The customer must also buy food and beverages from the cafe and the menu includes coffee, croissants, matcha, houjicha and Virgin Mojito.
Eternyl Vinyl Cafe opens from 2pm to 10pm Tuesday to Sunday. It is closed on Mondays. You can follow its activities on https://www.instagram.com/eternylcorner/
