WyWires has announced that Alex Sventitsky, founder of WyWires, has passed away.

News of his passing was posted on Facebook at 12.36 a.m. Malaysian time on Nov 9.

The post said: WyWires was a dream of his, finally realized in 2010. He took great pride in developing and creating products that brought more out of music, and more joy to his customers.

After 30 years in soul-draining technology sales, he finally found a rewarding vocation. He loved the industry and his place in it, and appreciated the relationships he had with our dealers and partners.

He conducted the business with authenticity and honesty. He was treated with respect by all of you, both of us appreciated that.

WyWires will be closing — contact us at his em [email protected] or me at [email protected], or call his cell number 949.636.5337 — for outstanding orders or repairs, which will be returned.

“If you are in the industry and are interested in our assets (proprietary designs, manufacturing facility, equipment etc) please let me know. Thank you for your patience and understanding — and tonight, toast to Alex! — Nina Sventitsky

WyWires’ cables sound good.

I have been using WyWire Platinum interconnects in my system since 2013. I bought them from AV Designs after reviewing them (which is the usual costly mistake made by reviewers) and they have been utilized in many hours of listening to good music.

It is quite sad that the cable company is closing and I hope some audiophile with deep pockets will buy the company and continue selling the excellent cables.
