On the first floor of Sungei Wang Plaza in Kuala Lumpur is one section called ‘Lorong CMY’ (CMY Lane) which has been given this name because CMY Audio & Visual, the largest AV retailer-cum-distributor in Malaysia, has opened three showrooms at this corner of the mall.
The latest to open just a few days after the Chinese New Year break is the Focal Powered by Naim showroom which has a main system comprising the Focal Maestro Utopia Evo driven by Naim Statement pre and power monoblocks. This is beside The High End Audio showroom, which showcases Goldmund components driving Focal Utopia speakers.
At the end of the row of shoplots is CMY’s original showroom. This showroom has also changed and the room on the left when you enter is now filled with Focal and Naim systems.
At the rear where the original Focal Powered by Naim demo system was placed, a pair of Focal Diva Mezza Utopia active speakers is now on demo.
