AV2DAY.com officially launched

By Lam Seng Fatt

This website has been active since late last year, but it was officially launched today in conjunction with the launch of the Kuala Lumpur International AV Show 2013 at the JW Marriot hotel, Kuala Lumpur.

Three stalwarts in the hi-fi and AV industries have teamed up to start what is aimed to be Malaysia’s top AV webzine showcasing product launches, component reviews, developments in technology and industry news.

The three are Willy Low, who had managed the hifiunlimited blog; Dick Tan, the organiser of the annual Kuala Lumpur International AV Show; and yours truly, who had started the hi-fi-avenue blog.

All of us are enthusiastic about the music and movie business and have been involved in one way or another for many years in the hi-fi and AV industries. Dick Tan was a pioneer and before he organised the KLIAVS, he had published an AV magazine.

In my case, I started off as a music reviewer in the New Straits Times and also reviewed hi-fi components for New Straits Times and later The Star’s AudioFile section.

Willy first participated an online hi-fi blog with his partners Odiosleuth (aka Tan) and Maggielurva (aka Leslie Loh) and in a few years, he has made his mark in the scene.

Tan TE, formerly known as Odioslueth will also be guest-starring in AV2Day.com as the super high-end guy.
