As MOC Day 3 becomes monotonous, I found a few old friends to hang out with. However, due to the need to cover Munich High End 2016 as much as possible, can’t stay and chat too long. My day continues:
Audio Physic Cardaes speaker delivering music via Nordost cables
Goebel Epoque Fine loud speakers, based on bending wave technology
Louis Desjardins proudly parading his new “off grid” power supply for the deserving Kronos Pro Ltd turn table only
Kronos Pro Ltd turntable, CH Electronics amplifiers and Goebel Epoque Reference loudspeakers. Many raved about the sound quality of this system, but I beg to differ. Bad hair day perhaps?
Begins Acoustic is beginning to go places...it is relocating to Puchong where it will have a double-storey shophouse with lots more space for its demo and showrooms.
The FiiO R7 is to me at least, a first of its kind. A product that merges a player, digital to analogue convertor, preamplifier and headphone amplifier. All of this is crammed into a uniquely designed chassis that would standout while blending in seamlessly on a desktop setup. Offered in both black and white, the FiiO R7 is by far the most fascinating product currently available in the FiiO catalogue.
