Munich High End Show 2016, Day 4. By now time seems closing on me as this is the last day of the show, and yet there’s still so much I did not covered! There’s a competing show across town called Hifi-Deluxe at the Marriott Hotel Munich, where supposedly more high end brands like FM Acoustics and JMF Audio were all there, but I have decided to miss that to concentrate fully on MOC 2016. Apparently because of that, I missed the chance to hear Anne Bisson & Lyn Stanley “Live”! Life is about choices and perhaps, regrets too, unfortunately.
Grimm Audio, if there was ever a name that matched the product character so much! I was listening to a very depressing double bass solo demo via the Grimm speakers, I had to walk out and fast, because I suddenly felt the urge to end my miserable life!

The FiiO R7 is to me at least, a first of its kind. A product that merges a player, digital to analogue convertor, preamplifier and headphone amplifier. All of this is crammed into a uniquely designed chassis that would standout while blending in seamlessly on a desktop setup. Offered in both black and white, the FiiO R7 is by far the most fascinating product currently available in the FiiO catalogue.

It is double happiness at YY Sound Systems' showroom in Glo Damansara, Kuala Lumpur, as there are two demo systems with different sonic flavours set up.
