On May 5, Kim S Tay of Asia Sound WhatsApped me saying that the showroom in Amcorp Mall had reopened on that day and also the Harbeth speakers were already on demo.
Yesterday, I went to the half-empty mall to return the Rega P8 and Fono MC Phono preamp which I had taken from Asia Sound for review before the Movement Control Order for the COVID-19 lockdown was announced. I also took the opportunity to snap some photos of the Harbeths since Asia Sound is the new distributor of the famous British brand.
Asia Sound has brought in most of the Harbeth models – the P3ESR which is priced at RM10,599, the Super HL5 plus (RM20,599), the Compact 7ES-3 (RM18,399) and the Monitor 30.1 (RM16,699).
