The number two in the DALI range of speakers, the EPIKORE 11, was launched this morning at the Atlas Experience showroom at The Gardens, Mid Valley Megamall, Kuala Lumpur.
Hosting the event was Caleb Raj, Regional Sales Manager of DALI A/S, who explained the new and trickle-down technologies involved in designing the EPIKORE 11, which is positioned below the flagship KORE, with a slide show and some videos.
The DALI EPIKORE 11 was driven by an Accuphase E-650 30 watter Class A integrated amp with music streamed from a Lumin T3 streamer/DAC with Audioquest cables.
The sound qualiity was surprisingly very good and the DALI EPIKORE 11 matched very well with the Accuphase E650 which sounded more powerful than its rated 30 watts per channel. And for a Class A amp, it did not run that hot and its bass control and extension were impressive indeed.
The DALI EPIKORE 11 sounded quite natural with good, tight bass, smooth mids and clear, transparent highs, thanks to the hybrid dome/ribbon tweeter trickled down from the flagship KORE speakers.
Audiophiles can drop by the Atlas Experience showroom from Monday onwards to listen to the fabulous demo system. The demo sessions will last till next month.
