Stars Picker Audio Library is now distributing Cayin products in Malaysia and yesterday, several products were launched in its showroom in Kota Damansara, Selangor.
A demo system has been set up with a Matrix Audio Element S streamer, a Chord M Scaler, a Chord Dave DAC and Sonus Faber Sonetto V floorstanders. You have the choice of using any of these Cayin integrated amps to power the system — the Soul 170I, the A845 Pro, A-300P Mk 2 or the Jazz 80.
The sound quality was surprisingly good and I preferred the Soul 170I (read review https://www.av2day.com/2023/04/cayin-soul-170i-tube-integrated-amp-has-a-dual-personality/)
followed by the Cayin A-845 Pro. Check it out and you may end up liking some other Cayin amp.
Meanwhile, Stars Picker also launched new HIFIMAN products like the Svanar Wireless IEMs and the Arya Organic over-ear headphones. The Svanar Wireless IEMs are really interesting as they have built-in R2R DACs inside the small bodies. The special clamshell case with attractive design is also a charger for the Svanar IEMs when they are placed inside the case which has a USB C input for it to be charged.
