In conjunction with the announcement that Perfect Hi-Fi is the new Malaysian distributor for Audioquest products, a demo session was held at its IOI Mall showroom yesterday.
Representing Audioquest were its International Sales Director Adam Shaw-Cotterill and APAC Business Development Robert Wong.
They demoed a wide range of products ranging from speaker cables to ethernet cables. The small but effective Jitterbug FMJ was demoed too.
It was interesting to hear the incremental steps in improvement of sound quality when using cables from lower to mid to top-level models. Even more surprising was to hear the improvements when using the Audioquest ethernet cables.
And to top it all, the Niagara 7000 power conditioner improved the sound of the entire system.
The demo proved that Audioquest products are not made from snake oil. The top-level products may be pricey, but there are other models which work well and are more affordable.
