Perfect Hi-Fi has brought in Spendor speakers from UK. That’s good news for audiophiles who are fans of the ‘British Sound’ who know that Spendor along with Rogers, Harbeth and KEF were the most sought-after speakers back then for that magical midrange that only British speakers could produce.
The last time I heard a pair of Spendors was during the Kuala Lumpur International AV Show 2017 when Acoustic Arts had a pair of Spendor SP200, the flagship then, in its demo room. I recall they sounded quite modern, but still very nicely British.
Andy Tan of Perfect Hi-Fi said he has brought in the following models — Classic 4/5, Classic 3/1, Classic 2/3, Classic 1/2, Classic 100 and Classic 200. From the ‘A’ range are the Spendor A1, A2, A4 and A7.
