The StereoNET SEA Hi-Fi & AV Expo 2026, which was held in Singapore for the first time from July 10-12, had a record attendance of more than 4,900 visitors.
All the participants that I spoke to at the AV show in Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre, said they were surprised by the large number of people turning up.
From my own observation, I noticed that there were more white attendees than in the AV shows in Kuala Lumpur and Penang in Malaysia. They either work or live long-term in Singapore. A Singaporean exhibitor told me they were mosty long-term visit pass holders or Permanent Residents and not tourists.
There were also many women and some children. There were many Gen Zers and Millennials attending too, which gives some hope that the future of the hi-fi and AV industries is brighter.

Eugene Ng, Event Director of StereoNET Southeast Asia Hi-Fi & AV Expo 2026, sent a note to all participants today:
I am delighted to share that the debut StereoNET Southeast Asia Hi-Fi & AV Expo in Singapore welcomed a record attendance of over 4,900 visitors (actual 4,936), showcased more than 160 brands, and brought together over 40 exhibitors and more than 50 international representatives across the three days. We were thrilled to see a fresh wave of enthusiasts discovering the show for the first time; your commitment and efforts have raised the bar for the industry and injected new energy into what we all do.
We firmly believe this inaugural event marks a new chapter for the local and regional Hi-Fi, AV and Head-Fi community, and we are sincerely grateful for your tremendous support. Feedback from both exhibitors and attendees has been overwhelmingly positive, and in the coming weeks we will be engaging you, as key stakeholders, in discussions around our plans for next year’s edition.
