These are some of the good-sounding systems in random order.
SWEDISH STATEMENT AUDIO BOUTIQUE

The folks here, led by Terry, have always worked hard to give their audience the best sound quality. Thus their room is without fail packed with friends, fans and the curious, and Swedish Statement’s room has consistently been considered the best-sounding room in the past few AV shows in Kuala Lumpur and Penang.
Terry set up an uber expensive system comprising Oladra Sentia digital source, MSB Palisade DAC, Acoustical Systems A-Stellar turntable, Vitus Audio MP-P201 Mkiii, Vitus Audio Signature SL-103 preamp and Vitus Audio Signature SM-103 Mk ii power amp, Lumin N1 switch, Marten Dexter Quintet speakers, Jorma Paragon, Jorma Statement Encore, Jorma Digital, Stillpoints Ultra6E with base, Stillpoints Ultra1E withe base and Stillpoints Cable Cradle with Pillar.
SIMPLICITY CONTROL

This company from Singapore brought back to AV shows in Malaysia the well-known Magico speakers. It also brought in a marque not seen in the Malaysian market for many years — EMM Labs.
Simplicity Control also set up an uber high-end system comprising Magico S5 speakers, EMM Labs MTRX-V2 1000W monoblocks, EMM Labs PREi preamp, EMM Labs DV2i streamer/DAC, EMM Labs TXi CD transport, Keces IQRP1500 isolating power conditioner, Keces P9 Linear Power Supply, Keces E-Wave network switch, Xeron Vision Net 8 network switch, David Laboga Akoya LAN cable and David Laboga GR speaker cables.
The room was big, but the 100-watt EMM Labs monoblocks, the third most powerful amp in the show, could drive the Magico S5s with ease to fill the entire room with good-sounding music.
CMY AUDIO & VISUAL

CMY’s Primaluna and Fyne Audio room sounded quite special during the show. Perhaps it was the Entreq ground boxes connected to the black terminals of the speakers or perhaps it was the Clearaudio Master Innovation turntable with TT1-M1 linear-tracking tonearm…but the sound quality was nicely warm and enticing.
The Fyne Audio F502S speakers were driven by the Primaluna EVO 400 integrated amp. Two REL Classic 99 sub-woofers were also on duty along with the Shunyata Denali X. Also the Fyne super tweeters were also used.
UNIQ FIDELITY

It was my first time listening to Dutch & Dutch 8C active speakers and I was quite impressed. They are also unusual as the front baffle houses the tweeter and mid-driver while there are two woofers located on the back baffle. There are vents on the sides of the cabinet to allow the back wave of the mid-driver to flow out. The speakers have built-in DSP and you can tune the sound to your liking.
THE EXPERTS GROUP MALAYSIA

I have heard the Monitor Audio Hyphn speakers many times before, but at WAVE 2026 they sounded quite special. It could have been the room acoustics that did the trick, but it was the first time I heard a deep and powerful bass from the uniquely-shaped speakers. They were driven by Michi M8 1080-watt monoblocks.
PERFECT Hi-FI

This room had the Sonus Faber Amati Supreme floorstanders driven by the most powerful amps in the show, the McIntosh MC1.25KW monoblocks which pump out 1,200 watts into 2, 4 or 8 Ohms.
This was also a big room but the system could play loud. However, I would prefer a bit more low bass.
