Danish Audiophile Loudspeaker Industries (DALI) has chalked up a major achievement by setting up a purpose-built sound system for the ASCARO Padel & Social Club at TREC Kuala Lumpur a few weeks ago.
Very few hi-fi companies can handle such pro-level jobs.
The sports and lifestyle club is ASCARO’s flagship project in the city and they needed a sound system that could perform seamlessly across indoor and outdoor space measuring a total of 1,115 m² (12,000 sq ft).
To meet this vision, DALI deployed a tailor-made solution combining DALI GARDIAN Outdoor speakers, PHANTOM E-80 WR weather-resistant in-ceiling speakers, and the DALI PHANTOM CI AMP-4750 DSP, ensuring consistent, powerful and natural sound throughout the venue. It took installation partner DALI APAC six months to plan, install and commission the system.
The system comprised 26 black DALI GARDIAN outdoor speakers, 9 white DALI E-80 WR weather-resistant in-ceiling speakers and a DALI PHANTOM AMP-4750 DSP multi-channel amplifier with 8 independently controlled active zones with selectable volume for each area (court, F&B, toilet, pool, lobby and open area.
It features dual input sources with flexible routing, including dedicated DJ & Wireless Mic input for event use. WiiM CI streamers and an Allen & Heath GR4 mixer were also included in the system.

“E-80 WR in-ceiling speakers ensure even sound distribution across semi-open areas, maintaining clarity and balance throughout the venue.
“The DALI PHANTOM CI AMP-4750 DSP power amp is capable of flexible installation needs, including high & low impedence use.
“The full DALI solution is discreet and architecturally integrated, seamlessly blending into the environment while enhancing the overall aesthetic. At its core, this installation reflects DALI’s philosophy that great sound belongs in sports environments, elevating energy, atmosphere, and the overall experience for members and guests.”
The collaboration extends beyond Malaysia, with ASCARO Padel Club in Cambodia also adopting DALI audio solutions, creating a consistent sonic identity across the brand’s regional footprint. This partnership reflects a shared commitment to performance, design integrity, and authentic experiences.
