Following feedback that some senior audiophiles and those on wheelchairs had difficulty going up to Begins Acoustic’s first-floor showroom, Kenix Chua has decided to move the hi-fi showroom to the ground floor.
She said the ground floor was initially used as the store room, but after hearing about the difficulties faced by the seniors and disabled, the hi-fi demo room will be shifted to the ground floor.
To commemorate the occasion, Begins Acoustic will be hosting an event called ‘Where Music Comes Alive’ on May 23 (Saturday) with a ribbon-cutting ceremony to be held at 10am.
After that, another live recording-and-playback session will be held featuring Ray Mak on piano and Gary Chee on vocals. The sessions will be recorded on a Revox reel-to-reel tape recorder and played back on Audiovector R6 Arreté speakers driven by Gryphon Diablo 333 with Tiglon cables.
The event will be held from 9.30am till 12 noon. Light refreshments will be served.

The first floor will house the AV demo room and the room acoustics treatment products.
