The sound quality of hi-fi systems and the immersive experience of AV have improved dramatically this year.
Today, I heard several really good sounding systems and experienced four demos of Atmos movies and two DTS:X demos. I am sure that the competition for the Best Sound and Best AV awards this year will be very stiff. The dealers have taken the trouble to get their systems to sound good (and look good, in the case of those selling AV equipment), which is great for audiophiles who attend the show.
Here are some photos of my Day 1 sonic adventure:

The FiiO R7 is to me at least, a first of its kind. A product that merges a player, digital to analogue convertor, preamplifier and headphone amplifier. All of this is crammed into a uniquely designed chassis that would standout while blending in seamlessly on a desktop setup. Offered in both black and white, the FiiO R7 is by far the most fascinating product currently available in the FiiO catalogue.

It is double happiness at YY Sound Systems' showroom in Glo Damansara, Kuala Lumpur, as there are two demo systems with different sonic flavours set up.
The first picture is beautiful with those sales promoters, the Marshall Unit is been held upside down doing a little injustice to this fabulous piece of music equipment. Hope there is no hard feeling for my comment.

Great Pictures.
Thank you.
