Older Malaysian audiophiles will remember Leak, a British brand that in its heyday was in the same league as Quad, Radford and Sugden. If you had been following the latest news in the hi-fi industry, you would know that Leak has been resurrected (see Leak, a British brand loved by many, is relaunched) by the Hong Kong-based IAG Group which also has brands like Wharfedale, Quad, Audiolab, Mission, Luxman and Castle in its collection.
In Malaysia, Creative AV has just become the Leak distributor and is bringing in the new range of Leak components and the first shipment should arrive by the middle of next month.
Alex Lim of Creative AV has already worked out the pricing and they are very affordable:
Leak CDT – RM3,480 (silver) and RM3,980 (walnut)
Leak Stereo 130 – RM4,490 (silver) and RM4,990 (walnut)
