Forests Hills, the distributor of Bowers & Wilkins (B&W) speakers in Malaysia, hosted a group of his dealers to a listening session on Oct 9 at its showroom in Damansara Utama, Petaling Jaya.
After playing several tracks on his demo system comprising Classe monoblocks and the flagship B&W 801 D5 speakers, owner of Forests Hills Brandon Lim treated the dealers to dinner and to pair with the food, several bottles of wine and whisky were opened.
Brandon Lim said the dealers who turned up were from Hau HiFi, Audio Concept, Style Laser Audio, Choy Audio Visual and Hi Fi Studio. TechX was also in the invitation list, but its owner Thiban could not make it because he was busy preparing for the launch of TechX’s new showroom (see https://www.av2day.com/2026/10/new-techx-showroom-on-jalan-ss1-36-opens/)
Youtuber Brother Bok and AV show organiser Wilson Teoh also popped in to listen to some songs, partake of the good food and imbibe the strong spirits.
In fact, the group of dealers had such a gala time that happy hour stretched to the wee hours of the morning. It was a classic case of good music, good hi-fi system, good food, good booze and good company all mixed and stirred into a most enjoyable and memorable time.
