Size matters in so far as Malaysian hi-fi and AV showrooms are concerned. Soon after Perfect Hi-Fi launched its new and bigger showroom in IOI Mall in Puchong, (see http://av2day.com/2018/11/perfect-hi-fis-new-showroom-launched-in-grand-ceremony/) CMY Audio & Visual has extended its showroom in Sungei Wang Plaza, Kuala Lumpur.
CMY boss John Yew said his Sungei Wang showroom has almost doubled in size to 5,000 sq ft. Previously it was on 2,900 sq ft of retail space.
John Yew said the renovations have been completed in time to usher in the new year.
“The additional space is used to house different sections for different brands. Each brand will have its own section,” John said.
The Malaysian hi-fi and AV scene has been quite exciting with such expansion of showrooms by leading companies in the business. AV2day will pay a visit to the extended CMY showroom soon to report on the changes.
