Harman’s Training Manager, APAC & Middle East, Frederic Filleul was in town to launch the Bowers & Wilkins 801 D5 floorstanders at the showroom of Forests Hills in Damansara Utama, Petaling Jaya, today.
Frederic hosted the event and conducted a demo session with songs from the past till the present including some Chinese hits. He also explained the new technologies involved in making the B&W 801 D5, the flagship speakers in the 800 Series Diamond D5 range.
The event lasted from 2pm till 6pm and a steady stream of audiophiles attended. Also attending was singer Faye An Ying Fei who heard her tracks played on the demo system and also sang a song accompanied by music played on the demo system. Her songs are available on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube and Instagram. Influencer Una Yap was also present to promote the speakers. Una’s handle on Instagram is duotian_yuxo and she is also on Xiaohongshu and Douyin.
