Not only did the entire head-fi community of dealers/distributors turn up for the Northern International AV Show held in Penang last weekend, but the world’s most expensive IEMs were on demo too.
The ultra-expensive IEMs are the Brise Audio Fugaku IEMs from Japan which come with a matching headphone amp. These retail at RM79,000 and were at the Stars Picker booth.
The head-fi players who were at the NIAVS 2025 were Stars Picker Audio Library, Red Ape Audio Store and Mirai Audio. For those who want to trade-in their IEMs or DAPs to move up the ladder, Mirai Audio, which has its showroom in Central Medan Connaught, Cheras, Kuala Lumpur, is the place to go to.
To be expected almost all the Millennials and Gen Zers who turned up for the AV show were in the head-fi booths.
