The Hisense flagship XR10 and PX4-Pro Ultra Short Throw (UST) laser projectors were launched at a special event at GSC Hall 6, IOI Mall Damansara last night. The Hisense RoamView mobile display was also launched.
After a short talk on the new products, a demo of the Hisense XR10 4K Triple Laser home theatre projector was held.

Being Hisense’s flagship home projector, it boasts several record-setting features such as offering 6,000 ANSI lumens, as well as up to 6,000:1 contrast ratio w/IRIS.
The RGB triple laser engine exceeds the colour gamut — producing brilliant colours at 118% BT.2020 and deep blacks at up to 300 inches, in any controlled lighting condition.
Like gaming PCs, the projector has an industry-leading micro-channel liquid cooling system which replaces traditional fans.
Projection is handled by an industry-first 17-element all-glass lens with hardware lens shift (±130% vertical / ±46% horizontal), a 0.84–2.0:1 optical zoom, and a quad-camera AI system with ToF sensors that auto-focuses and auto-corrects the image. A bonus feature is that its audio is tuned by Devialet.
At the event, the Hisense XR10 was stretched beyond its design limit (which is up to 300 inches) by projecting up to 500 inches without distortion.

After the short demo, the attendees who filled up the entire Hall 6 were treated to a screening of The Odyssey, the latest work of renowned director Christopher Nolan.
The attendees also received goodie bags which included a hotdog, chicken nuggets, mineral water and, of course, popcorn.
